Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Fit for Sparta (the "app"), provided by Central Georgia Software. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial training. This license is in addition to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of the app.
Fit for Sparta provides general fitness and nutrition information for educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional guidance. Consult a qualified physician before beginning any exercise or nutrition program, particularly if you have a medical condition, are injured, are pregnant, or are taking medication. Exercise carries inherent risks; you assume all risk associated with your training. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other distress.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for using the app safely and within your own physical limits, and for the accuracy of the information you choose to record. The app's programming is general and may not be appropriate for your individual circumstances.
4. Intellectual property
The app, its design, text, and other content are owned by Central Georgia Software and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app except as permitted by law.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Central Georgia Software shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damages — including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app.
7. Changes
We may modify the app or these Terms at any time. We will update the "last updated" date when we do. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
